MASTER YOUR ART SCHOLARSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • There are six scholarships on offer.
  • Each scholarship is valued at a maximum of R180 000 for up to three years of uninterrupted study for tuition fees only, and excludes the cost of additional study material, textbooks, external examination fees and stationery.
  • Entries close 31 October 2022.
  • Registration for your chosen course is dependent on student numbers as well as meeting the entry requirements for the chosen course.
  • The scholarship can only be applied to one CityVarsity programme.
  • The scholarship is for a Full-Time course only at either the Cape Town or Braamfontein campus.
  • Acceptance to study at CityVarsity is subject to all CityVarsity’s entrance and qualifying criteria and will be subject to the student accepting the normal rules and regulations that apply to all CityVarsity students.
  • The scholarship is for tuition at CityVarsity (Pty) Ltd only and may not be used against any existing registration with CityVarsity (Pty) Ltd.
  • The scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other CityVarsity promotion and/or special offer.
  • The scholarship is not transferrable and not redeemable for cash.
  • We require a recent photograph of you along with a testimonial to appear on any publicity material and you hereby consent to the use thereof as required by the provisions of POPIA.
  • Should fees for the course chosen be less than the scholarship award, the student acknowledges that there will be no refund or reimbursement or compensation in any manner or form for the difference between the fees for the course and the scholarship Such difference shall be deemed to be forfeited by the student.
  • Should the fees for the course chosen exceed the amount of the scholarship then the student / sponsor/ account payer shall be liable to pay the amount of fees in excess of the value of the scholarship.
  • Scholarship students will be expected to successfully complete all modules throughout their studies at CityVarsity. The scholarship will be deemed redundant and will terminate at the point when any module is failed.  The scholarship students will have the option then to complete the remaining modules at their own cost.
  • Scholarship students will be required to actively participate in community engagement projects driven by the CityVarsity SRC.
  • The scholarship students will forfeit this scholarship if found guilty of any infringement of the student code of conduct as stipulated in the CityVarsity Student Handbook.
  • The selection of the scholarship winners will be audited and conducted by Educor Holdings (Pty Ltd.) or a representative of Educor Holdings (Pty Ltd.) on the 27th of Feb 2023.
  • Winners will be notified by means of SMS or Phone call.
  • Should you fail to redeem the scholarship by the 17th of March 2023 you will forfeit the scholarship.
  • Educor’s decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect thereof.
  • Educor reserves the right to amend, alter, vary, increase or decrease and/or withdraw the scholarship offer entirely in its sole discretion and for no reason given whatsoever.
  • All person should be 18 years and older to enter this competition or that they have specifically obtained the consent of their parent/s to enter the competition and hereby warrant that they have such authority.
