BACKGROUND:

Over the past years the broadcasting, entertainment and media sector in South Africa has grown exponentially. Indications are that this trend will continue for years to come. With the expansion of local, national and community radio and the growth of the independent sector, there is a demand to train a new breed of professionals who have the ability to work in various aspects of media and communication. Obviously, not everybody who tries will succeed in carving out a career in this industry, but the better qualified you are, the better the chance of your success.
