Background This course is designed for those people who have an interest in producing short videos. For example, those who would like to produce short music videos, corporate videos or advanced home videos. This is a hands-on, practical course. It will also be an interactive course where students work with others and not alone. Lecturer Tim Spring has been involved in a number of different job categories over the past fifty years, including sound editing, editing and directing (nine feature films). From 1979 onwards, Tim entered the dynamic television world and was instrumental in directing about twenty TV drama series – winning two best director awards. His career has spanned not only South Africa, but also Los Angeles where he edited, American Kickboxer 2, Night Realm and directed Double Blast and Raw Target. He is a full-time lecturer at CityVarsity in the Film and TV Production Techniques Department. Admission Requirements
