BACKGROUND

Adobe Dreamweaver is the industry’s most advanced authoring environments for creating interactive websites, digital experiences and animation for the web. This short course covers the basics and layout in HTML and CSS.

COURSE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

•  Applicants must have a basic understanding of  Adobe Photoshop, speak English, and have a working knowledge of the World Wide Web.
• The applicant must have a keen interest in web design and have the commitment to follow through with the course.

• Designing for web – gathering info and content for your site
•  Designing your look and feel + follow on pages
• Slicing, optimizing and saving images for the web
• Dreamweaver overview + Create and Manage your site
• Implementing your design in HTML and CSS
• Adding functionality to your buttons and links
• Cross-browser testing and uploading your site via FTP
• Javascript for form validation
• Adding a video & audio
• Integrating with Flash media
• Linking with external website, e.g. Facebook, Twitter
• HTML 5 introduction
