The Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television covers the basics of TV, Film and Digital Movie making , but adds the theoretical overview necessary to becoming a leader in the field.

All aspects of the course, theoretical and practical, are aimed at developing industry leaders such as directors, producers and screenwriters, with an additional focus on business and entrepreneurial skills.

The aim of the course is to equip graduates with the skills and abilities to contribute to the creative and cultural development of the film and related industries as well as educating them more broadly about Film and Art History and the role of media in society.

While the course is weighted towards theory, emphasis is placed on developing hands on practical skills through the production of a variety of film and TV productions, including short films, adverts, music videos and public service announcements.

  • Scriptwriting
  • Producing
  • Visual Studies
  • Film Analysis, with modules of Film History and Film Appreciation
